Cute Ornaments

Yesterday finally got some time to try my new stuff from Stampin' Up! That I got days ago and I made these cute ornaments hope you like it :) 

 

My Mom's House, her Tragedy brought The Spirit of Christmas back to me

If you were wondering what is happening and why you haven't see new post these is the one of the reasons. 

Tuesday morning I got a phone call from my mom, telling me that she was ok and no need to worry that she was ok, but her house got on fire and everything that she own was gone :( . Stopping what I was doing got my kids ready and running  throw the door I went to meet my mom, finding my mom we both started crying, everything was lost pictures, cloth, sofa everything was gone, sad to see what once was a home turn into smoke, or dust... Everything was gone, but I still have my mom and I'm thankful that she is ok , fireman, Red Cross friends and family are been so nice to us, is sad to say but before this happened I was telling my husband that I have lost the spirit of Christmas , Christmas is my favorite holiday and no because of the gift is because is a magical time to give, to remember the Savior, to take a special time to do things with your families and friends , to try harder to serve and gift, but for some reason this Christmas I lost it in between "been busy"and Christmas shopping , but what happen to my mom help me remember that material things can be gone like smoke, just like that, and my testimony about our Savior has grow, I believe that he love everyone of us and he wants us to find happiness in this life, but things can happen to anybody and is always a reason why , we just need to have faith and hope for a better tomorrow. I hope you have find the true Spirit of Christmas in your home, and if not is never too late to start. My wish for you that you have a Merry Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Envelope Card Holder Video Tutorial

Hello Amigas, today I'm going to show you how I made the note card envelope holder, that I post I think was 2 days ago you can see it HERE, I had friends asking me how I put it together and measurements, so I made these tutorial for you with regular side envelope so you can use it for your regular size card, I hope you like it! let me know if you have any questions and Happy Stampin' Enjoy.

Note Card Envelope Holder

Hi my friends, I just want to share with you a really cute project that I just finish is a note card envelope holder, is made with whisper white note card envelopes, and I used Pool Party Cardstock for the box, and winter frost designer series paper stack, for my note card I used pool party cardstock and ink pad, six sided sampler stamp set, hexagon puncher, bermuda bay ink pad and smoky slate ink pad. I hope you like it. I just add the measurements for these project.

To make a Note Card Envelope Holder you will need:

10 note car envelopes.

2 pieces of card stock

   #1   4"x9"

scroll it at 3 3/4" and 5 3/4

   #2   4"x7"

scroll it at 2 1/2 and 4 1/2

On your card stock #1 use the last 1/4" to put adhesive and attach it card stock #2

You will need to cut 3 pieces of Designer Paper I used Winter Froze:

   3 3/4"x 3 1/2", 3 3/4"x1 3/4", 3 3/4"x 5 1/4"

2 pieces of designer paper:

   3 3/4x 1 3/4, 3 3/4 x 2 3/4

New look!

I just got a new look on my blog, so excited! my awesome husband help me with my side icons giving my customers an easy access to my web and more :) thanks honey, you are Awesome! Special Season

I been working on cute Christmas cards for my workshops and I wanna show what I did using Special Season stamp set :)

How to use the spritzer ?

I made so many mistakes when I use my spritzer for first time, I don't know why because it is pretty fun and very easy to use,  the only thing is a big No No  is : Do Not over spray, work in one area and move to the next and go back if you want a darker color but don't over spray and you will be ok playing with your spritzer and now I love it I made my Joy Christmas banner and a banner for my son's bday, he is turning 5 he is going to love to see his name in a banner I'm pretty sure he is going to treasure it forever he is that kind of kid ;)... and back to the tutorial,  things that you need to remember:

1) Don't over spray, work in one area and move to the next one and go back if you want to spray more, it will dry pretty fast if you use alcohol instead of water.
2) Protect your table.
3) Count how many drops you are pudding in your spritzer in case you need to refill you can get the same color if you use same amount of ink drops.
4) and one more thing shake your spritzer, to mix the alcohol with the ink.

Christmas is around the corner yay!

Let's not forget thanksgiving day in a few weeks, is a great holiday  I love that my American family celebrates a special day to say thanks for all the many blessings they have, as a Peruvian we don't celebrate thanksgiving we save the turkey for Christmas ;) 

But I'm really excited for Christmas is my favorite holiday no Only because of the presents ;), is the feeling of love, service, charity, you forget what you will get, instead you work on things that you can give to other, celebrating Christ brings a special Christmas spirit in my home, a warm feeling together with Christmas deco, the smell of pine tree, and cold nights with hot coco, I just love Christmas and I can't wait for the day after thanksgiving to put out the tree and ornaments and everything that is in storage boxes, :) 

With the feeling of Christmas around the corner I'm getting ready and will like to share it with you , for my next few posts I'm going to show you some tutorials of how to put together a banner that we sell in stampin up 

Using these and these 

We will have something like these ;) and more.

My first workshop!

My first workshop was exciting, everything turn pretty good, I had Two workshops one in the morning in Spanish and another one in the evening in English, both were fun, I few things that I will need to change for next time, but oh well, we can learn from our own mistakes, but overall everything was pretty good.

I'd welcome my guess with a special treat for coming to my party here is the pic.

And after catching up, I showed them the great big shot, and the awesome things they can do, ;) then we put together these cute card , very easy to make using the mosaic bundle from Stampin up here is the picture 

Was a fun night , after pudding the card together they start looking at the catalogs and filling up they're wish list, I have a few snacks for them, and after filling up forms we said good bye.

I'm getting ready...

Getting ready for my first open house with Stampin up! So excited here is the card that I made for the invitations hope you like it ;)

For these card I used Pistachio pudding paper, strawberry slush, chocolate chip, perfect Polka dots, blossom punch, mixed bunch stamp set, dozen thoughts stamp set. Have fun!

I got my  Big Shot  today Awesome!  I can't wait to play with it.  :) 

I'm back yay!!!

I'm back after mmmm I don't know years I finally back to do what I love and share it with you , well things have change a little , to give you an update I don't have 3 anymore now I have 5 kids, yay we moved to an awesome neighborhood "daybreak" with cool people, fun parks, close to the lake and to make it better , blocks from the Oquirh Mountain Temple , love it!  Something else that I'm extra excited is that I just became an Stampin Up demonstrator, yay Me!!! I'm so excited !!! I'm ready for this new chapter in my life , that I'm so excited to share it with you I will be posting all my new creations with tutorial and more .... ;) still working on putting things together,  but sooner then later you will see new things on my blog wish me luck on my new adventure , don't forget to follow me to keep you post it ,  and I think that's it Adios :)
